"Soul Inspiration - Dare" pin or necklace
This piece was created as the first in a line of wearable art to represent women who inspire. It was originated for the “Women you Know, Women you want to Know” event sponsored by the Des Moines ICSW (Iowa Commission on the Status of Women).
It is entitled Dare as it represents women who dare to journey to places outside of their comfort level.
It is a lightweight pin displaying a face emanating spirit which is embellished in copper or gold paint and tiny tiny beads. The pin is adorned with an assemblage of copper or brass wire and colorful beads in an effort to further bring out the essence of the face within.
It measures approximately 4 inches tall by 2.5 inches wide. Each one is a one of a kind and varies in color, wiring and beading.
For every pin or necklace ordered, a $5.00 donation will be made to the Des Moines ICSW (Iowa Commission on the Status of Women).
